Havent watched any new animes, but Grimgal of Ashes and Illusion looks promising. The light novel is great, but havent watched the anime.

Yes. Best I've seen this season...or during it's run so far. Really surprisingly done well. Just when you think it's a light-hearted scene they toss in a bone chilling/graphic moment. Sooo many "wtf just happened" scenes. That said...the episodes of his meltdowns tend to drag on and are difficult watch...but you gotta plug through them.
Mob...was super excited about this one after first episode. Watched the second one and got turned off by the over the top goober comedy...too much. I was hoping they'd have backed off it some for second episode and on. Takes away from everything that's great about it. I'm not talking One Punch type comedy...I'm talking about when they respond in a way that the characters turn into a wiggly version of the southpark kids plus super high pitched voices....and you're expecting a drum roll...*ba dum cling!*...after they finish their response.
Netflix has a Sinbad anime...so a spinoff from Magi...prequel stuff. It's pretty good. Subs Almon....*pat pat pat.* I know I know.
Tales of Zestiria has been pretty good so far.
Anime I'm needing to continue yesterday: Attack on Titan, Overlord, One Punch Man, Blood Blockage Battlefront, Seraph of the End, Tokyo Ghoul. Just to name some from the past couple years. And a longstanding wish...someone redo Claymore with a 20 year run.

Mob seems to be picking up a lot more on the action it's actually some pretty great stuff.

Mob does pick up alot stroywise, but you gotta understand its made by the same guy who wrote one-punchman. thats his comic scene and its amazing imo. You gotta give a series 3 eps lol, I think thats what people recommend before you drop a series (unless it just straight sucks dick)
I finished the grimgal one and it was solid. 8/10, good character development and steady story. only prob was it didnt really pull me in hardcore until the end, was watching really casually. excited for season 2 which should be dropped pretty soon. if you want almon I found a HD stream for it.
Ive only heard of half the ones you listed front lol. Tokyo is solid, nice and edgy haha. Overlord was also pretty fun, looking forward to season 2. and Never really got into Attack on titan tbh. was meh in my book, but the anime isnt bad.
